Gertrude Moser-Wagner has suggested the introduction of the CONTRADICTION METER as a standard measure of conceptuality, referring to the artistic “unit of perception” for a responsible and contemporary way of working. Her recent concepts, projects and interventions described in this bilingual catalogue book take the reader/viewer, by way of many (international) locations of visual art, into the domains of the processual, the performative, the social. All the time the artist keeps an eye on those operational moments that can inspire her concept of sculpture, be it through language, found objects, or in dialogue with science.
